Dwight Howard and the Los Angeles Lakers are at the center of a whirlwind of trade rumors with the trade deadline approaching, but on Tuesday Howard told media that he trusts general manager Mitch Kupchak's word that the Lakers have no intention of trading their franchise center before the deadline passes, via Trevor Wong of Lakers.com:

“He’s been saying that for the last month-and-a-half or two months. There’s always rumors and stuff swirling around. One thing he tells me every day is to trust him, so that’s what I’m going to continue to do and control what I can control.”

This comes after multiple reports have surfaced linking back to the Lakers potentially moving Howard. There's plenty of spin going on right now around Dwight, but until the deadline passes, it's difficult to identify truth from rumor.
