NBA trade rumors: Unlikely Brandon Jennings will be traded
As the Milwaukee Bucks continue discussions with the Atlanta Hawks in an attempt to land Josh Smith, Marc Stein reports that Brandon Jennings is unlikely to be traded before the deadline passes.

The Milwaukee Bucks continue to discuss Josh Smith trade scenarios with the Atlanta Hawks in advance of Thursday’s 3 p.m. trade deadline, according to sources with knowledge of the talks.
But those discussions, sources say, also serve as a strong indication of the rising likelihood that Brandon Jennings will not be moved this week.
The Hawks and Bucks have been in discussions for a deal structured around Monta Ellis and Smith. While Jennings's contract situation has been an issue the Bucks have been surveying, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported that despite an attempt to gain leverage by switching agents, it remains unlikely that a team will offer Jennings the max contract he desires in the summer.
Now, it appears the Bucks are set to hold onto the point guard and test his value in the free agent market.
