The Indiana Pacers may be primed to execute a few peripheral trades before the NBA trade deadline passes today at 3 p.m. ET. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports and Indianapolis Star beat reporter Mike Wells are both reporting that Indiana is active in trade talks involving D.J. Augustin, Gerald Green and Tyler Hansbrough:
NBA trade rumors: Pacers trying to deal D.J. Augustin, Gerald Green, Tyler Hansbrough
The Indiana Pacers have been quiet so far on the trade front, but recent reports suggest they are shopping D.J. Augustin, Gerald Green and Tyler Hansbrough as the NBA trade deadline approaches.

The Pacers currently own a 33-21 record and the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff bracket, so they may be looking to turn a few minor role players into a better piece or different optimized role players to use in a deep playoff run this year.
Hansbrough ($3.05 million) and Augustin ($3.5 million) are on expiring contracts. Hansbrough will be a restricted free agent this off-season, while Augustin will be unrestricted. The Pacers signed Green to a three-year, $10.5 million deal this past summer, but the 27-year-old reclamation project has since lost his three-point stroke (28.5% on threes this year) and any hint of general effectiveness (7.4 PER).
