The Boston Celtics made a small splash at Thursday's deadline when they acquired Jordan Crawford from the Washington Wizards, but could make another minor move by offering a 10-day contract to free agent big man D.J. White who just finished his season in China, via Marc Stein of ESPN.
Celtics rumors: D.J. White interests Boston
The Boston Celtics have been linked to free agent big man D.J. White, who just finished his season in China.

White last played with the Charlotte Bobcats during the 2011-2012 NBA season. In the 58 games he played, he averaged 6.8 points and 3.6 rebounds. Veteran center Jason Collins was sent out as part of the deal that landed Crawford, thinning out the frontcourt depth available to Boston in the final stretch of the season. White could provide temporary bench depth for the Celtics, who will be missing Jared Sullinger for the remainder of the season with a back injury.
