Dallas Mavericks center Chris Kaman will be available for Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers after missing 10 days with post-concussion symptoms, Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas reports.

After missing 10 games with a concussion, Mavericks center Chris Kaman will be available for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.

Kaman, who injured his head during a team practice on Jan. 28, participated in two practices with the team this week before being medically cleared. He needed to pass the NBA’s post-concussion protocol as well, which featured a test Kaman described as, “the stupidest test ever.”
“Hopefully, I’ll get a few minutes tomorrow. The headaches are gone, so I’m clear. I’m going to play. It’s been too long,” Kaman told reporters after Saturday’s practice.
In 42 games with Dallas this season, including 33 starts, Kaman has posted per game averages of 12.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per contest. Before the injury, the center had seen a diminished role in recent games, so it remains to be seen how he’ll fit into the team’s big man rotation going forward.
