Indiana's stout defense stymied Detroit Saturday night, as the Pacers rolled past the Pistons, 90-72. .For the first time all season, Indiana had a healthy roster as the team welcomed back former All-Star Danny Granger, who had been out since training camp with a knee injury.

Danny Granger returned to the Pacers Saturday night as Indiana proved why they have one of the best defenses in the league, beating the Detroit Pistons 90-72.

Granger, who came off the bench, started the game cold and he wasn't the only one. The Pistons and Pacers scored a combined 25 points in the first quarter as Indiana took a 16-9 lead in to the second quarter. Granger checked in for Lance Stephenson with three minutes left in the first and finished the first half scoreless as the Pacers took a 39-28 lead in to the locker room.
Indiana continued to lock down the Pistons in the third, holding them to 20 points in the quarter. Granger finally got on the board early in fourth quarter, hitting a 15 foot jumper off a Paul George assist. Granger finished the game 1-10 with two points and two rebounds. George Hill led all scorers with 17 points. Pistons forward Greg Monroe finished the game with 12 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals.
