The New York Knicks righted the ship, at least for a night, and overcame their injuries to defeat the Utah Jazz, 90-83 on Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.

Raymond Felton had a strong game for the Knicks (39-26) with 19 points, four assists and three steals. J.R. Smith added 20 points off the bench to lead all scorers and spark New York’s win. The Knicks scored 34 points in the paint against just 22 for the Jazz and had 12 fast break points off 17 turnovers from the opposition.
Gordon Hayward had a team-high 17 points for Utah (34-33), while adding four blocked shots in a starting role. Al Jefferson notched a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
New York shot well from the field, making 32-of-69 shots (46.4 percent). They were without Tyson Chandler, who hasn’t played since March 13 due to a strained neck and is due to undergo an MRI on Tuesday. Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire were also out with injuries.
