Stacey King drops an ‘f-bomb’ during Bulls broadcast

Stacey King fancies himself a man of many catchphrases. This is one he wishes he didn’t use.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Stacey King is a polarizing figure on the mic for Chicago Bulls games. He forces catch phrases that frequently make no sense, but his unbridled enthusiasm is frequently charming and he tries harder than most color guys. His finest moment may have come Saturday night, after Jimmy Butler caught a sweet alley-oop and Stacey King unleashed one of his signature sayings, finally, before making a little whoopsie.

We here at SB Nation are 99 percent sure that’s an f-bomb, on live television. Which, if the rules of television are what we believe them to be, is not allowed.

UPDATE: King is likely saying Funk, as in his broadcast partner Neil Funk. We apologize for the error. We are now only 20 percent sure it’s an f-bomb.
