The Boston Celtics will have big man Kevin Garnett back in the lineup as they visit the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night, A. Sherrod Blakely of CSN New England reports.
Kevin Garnett to play Wednesday against Hornets
KG will be back on the court as the Celtics face the Hornets.

After missing the past two games while dealing with a strained adductor in his hip and unrelated flu symptoms, Garnett should be able to give Boston a nice boost on the road. The Celtics split the two games in his absence, easily beating the Bobcats over the weekend before falling just short in an attempt to end the Heat's historic win streak Monday night.
Even before being sidelined by the adductor strain, Garnett was looking limited on the court. In the three games prior to his absence, KG averaged 24 minutes per contest and shot just 32 percent from the floor. He blocked only one shot total and averaged fewer than seven rebounds per game.
With that said, the extra rest could be just what an aging Garnett needs going into the stretch run.
