It was a busy Wednesday night in the NBA. LeBron James returned to Cleveland as a champion for the first time and kept the Heat’s winning streak alive.

    Scoreboard leak delays LeBron vs. Cavs

    As the game was about to start, however, arena staff noticed a leak dripping onto the court from the Jumbotron scoreboard. They furiously tried to mop up the mess, but were unable to control the moisture.

    Eventually, players from both teams put their warmups back on and returned to the respective locker rooms. The staff at Quicken Loans Arena lowered the scoreboard to try to repair the leak. Original reports indicated that the delay would last about another 15 minutes or so.

    Can Jazz keep playoff hopes alive in Houston?

    With a 34-33 overall record, Utah is two games behind Houston for the seventh seed and one game behind L.A. for the eighth seed. The Mavericks and Blazers are also within four games of the Lakers, leaving the possibility that either team could make a run, however unlikely it is.

    In a strong position to reach the playoffs just a few weeks ago, the Jazz have stumbled in recent weeks to drop out of the current alignment. However, neither the Lakers or Rockets has been able to pull away from the crowd, leaving the folks at SLC Dunk, SB Nation’s Jazz blog, confident that Utah can still make a run for its money.
