This isn't the first time LeBron James has returned to play his former team in Cleveland. But with the way that he left the Cavaliers to play for the Miami Heat, every game between these two teams is huge for the fans in Northeast Ohio.
Leak on court delays start of LeBron James’ return to Cleveland
The Quicken Loans Arena crowd was raucous and ready to cheer for their hometown underdogs to upset the streaking Miami Heat. But a leak from the Jumbotron scoreboard above the court delayed the start of LeBron’s return to Cleveland.
As the game was about to start, however, arena staff noticed a leak dripping onto the court from the Jumbotron scoreboard. They furiously tried to mop up the mess, but were unable to control the moisture.
Eventually, players from both teams put their warmups back on and returned to the respective locker rooms. The staff at Quicken Loans Arena lowered the scoreboard to try to repair the leak. Original reports indicated that the delay would last about another 15 minutes or so.
