The Atlanta Hawks struggled in the fourth quarter, but hung on to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks, 98-90, on Wednesday night at Philips Arena.

The Hawks were in complete control of the game until they got careless with the basketball in the second half and let the Bucks back in it.

The Hawks (38-30) committed 17 turnovers six of which came in the fourth quarter. Heading into the fourth quarter, they led by 18 points, but allowed the Bucks back into the contest with those giveaways.
Jeff Teague led the way for the Hawks (37-30) with 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting, including 4-of-5 from the three-point line. Al Horford continued his post-All Star break tear and added 26 points and 15 rebounds. Atlanta shot 48.1 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from the three point line. They stifled the Bucks' offense throughout the game and held them to just 37.4 percent shooting.
Milwaukee (34-33) got a double-double effort with 19 points and 14 rebounds from Larry Sanders, and Brandon Jennings scored a team-high 21 points in the losing effort.
The game featured eight lead changes and nine ties, but Atlanta had it in hand for most of the night with the exception of the lapse in the final frame.
