Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau already stated that Rose (ACL surgery) is "most likely out" for Thursday's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers and Rose's words confirm that he's no closer to deciding if he'll play or not this season.
Thibodeau was at least generous enough to add that Rose is having “some very good practices,” according to the Chicago Tribune’s K.C. Johnson. Rose participated in another full-court scrimmage Wednesday and has suffered no known setbacks since his hamstrings started tightening up earlier this month.
The Bulls (36-30) are currently in the midst of a three-game homestand that will conclude with a matchup against the Pacers on Saturday. At the moment, Chicago owns the East's No. 6 seed but the Bulls have dropped seven of their last 11 and are now only 2.5 games ahead of No. 8 Milwaukee.
