Ryan Anderson led the way for Hornets (25-46) and scored 23 points. Seven players scored in double-figures for New Orleans, who shot a stellar 48.2 percent from the field and 54.2 percent from the three-point line.

The Nuggets only led once in the contest, and New Orleans never looked back once they went ahead of the second-hottest team in the NBA. Brian Roberts notched a double-double with 13 points and an other-worldly 18 assists to create plenty of offense for the Hornets.

Danilo Gallinari had 24 points on a mediocre 5-of-12 shooting to lead Denver (49-23), but shot 4-of-6 from the three-point line. The Hornets outrebounded the Nuggets by a margin of 45-33 and held the visitors to just 37.9 percent from the field and 31.2 percent from beyond the arc.
