The Heat won the previous match-up, 105-100, in November. That game, despite being competitive, earned the Spurs a $250,000 fine from the league because Spurs coach Gregg Popovich decided to rest starters Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green in the nationally televised game.
In Sunday's other marquee game, the New York Knicks (45-26) host their longtime rivals the Boston Celtics (38-34) at 7:30 p.m. The Celtics will be trying to stop New York's seven-game winning streak while the Knicks are trying to hold off the Indiana Pacers and earn the No. 2 seed in the the Eastern Conference playoff race.
