Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut will return to the starting lineup on Monday after missing six straight games with a lower back injury.

The Warriors big man felt good enough after Monday’s shootaround to give it a go against Toronto as he deals with an ailing back.

According to the Warriors’ official Twitter feed, Bogut will suit up. There was speculation he could return soon following the team shootaround earlier in the day, though the team has been purposefully non-committal with each of his injuries in the recent past.
In 12 games this season, the former No. 1 overall pick is averaging 7.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per contest. The Warriors are in big need of an inside presence as they struggle to maintain their positioning in the Western Conference playoff picture. They’ve lost their last four games and seven of their last 10.
At 33-27, Golden State is currently situated as the No. 6 seed ahead of the Houston Rockets and the Utah Jazz, who are each just a half-game behind in the final two playoff spots.
