Clippers vs. Nuggets final score: Nuggets shoot the lights out in 107-92 victory

The Los Angeles Clippers fall victim to playing the second-half of their back-to-back in Denver as the Nuggets shoot

The Denver Nuggets rode hot shooting to take care of their home-court, as they often do, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 107-92 on Thursday.

The Nuggets pushed their winning-streak to seven games with the victory.

Ty Lawson led the way for the Nuggets with a double-double as he put up 21 points, 11 assists, and six rebounds. Danilo Gallinari scored 20 points for Denver 8-of-15 shooting. Andre Iguodala scored 14 points but also had seven assists.

The Nuggets’ hot three-point shooting put them over the top while the Clippers’ performance from beyond the arc was anything but proficient. Denver shot 47.8 percent from beyond the arc, making good on 11 of its 23 three-point field goal attempts. The Clippers, meanwhile, shot only 7-for-22: a 33.1 percent success rate. From the field as a whole, the Nuggets shot 55.8 percent.

For the Clippers, Chris Paul had 16 points and 10 assists. Matt Barnes led them in scoring with 19 points on 8-for-20 shooting off the bench. Blake Griffin had 17 points but only two rebounds. Both the Nuggets' Kenneth Faried and Lakers' Lamar Odom pulled down 10 rebounds.
