The Brooklyn Nets (47-32) moved within two games of the Indiana Pacers (49-30) for third place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 117-109 win over the Pacers on Friday.

The Brooklyn Nets won their fourth straight game Friday and moved within two games of Indiana for the third seed in the East.

Deron Williams scored 33 points on 10 for 23 shooting with 14 assists, Joe Johnson had 24 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals and Brook Lopez scored 24 points and blocked five shots for the Nets.
Brooklyn built a 19-point lead at halftime, but the Pacers got back in it by out-scoring the Nets 35-23 in the third quarter. The Pacers took a 101-99 lead on a three by Lance Stephenson with five minutes left, but the Nets regained the lead and used a late run to pull away.
David West had 26 points and nine rebounds, Paul George scored 21 points, Roy Hibbert had 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks, George Hill had 17 points and 10 assists and Stephenson scored 13 points.
