Curry has 32 points on 12 for 21 shooting, including 6 for 10 from three-point range, for the Warriors. Curry (perhaps inspired by his choice in pregame music) had 22 points in his first 12 minutes. He also has two assists, although the Warriors would probably prefer he not pass much the rest of the way -- his teammates are shooting a combined 10 for 28 for the half.
That mirrors Curry’s New York performance. Despite his brilliance, he didn’t get much support from teammates as the Warriors lost to the Knicks. Curry made as many shots in that game -- 18 -- as the rest of his team did.
The Lakers, after a slow start and a scoreless first quarter by Kobe Bryant, managed to tie Friday's game at 57 before halftime. Bryant had 13 points in the second quarter and Pau Gasol has 14 points and seven rebounds for the Lakers, who need a win to maintain a lead over the Utah Jazz for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
