After a banner season in which he helped the Golden State Warriors clinch their first playoff berth since 2007, Stephen Curry added to his own individual trophy case on Wednesday night, setting the NBA's single-season three-pointer record.

On Wednesday night, Curry set an NBA record with his 270th three-pointer of the 2012-2013 season. He broke the mark previously set by Ray Allen in 2006.

Curry clinched the mark with his second three-pointer in the Warriors' season finale in Portland. It was his 270th of the season, breaking the mark that Ray Allen set during the 2005-2006 season with the Seattle Supersonics.
The number also marks another milestone in what was a banner season for the fourth-year player out of Davidson. Curry averaged a career-high 23 points per game, easily eclipsing the 18.6 points per game he scored in 2010-11. Last season, Curry was limited to just 26 games after suffering an ankle injury.
On the season, Curry has also hit a league-high 3.5 three-pointers per game, and made a staggering 16 threes in the Warriors’ previous two victories entering Wednesday night.
