Kenneth Faried injury: Nuggets center to play Game 2 of Warriors series
It’s not clear whether Kenneth Faried’s ankle is 100 percent, but the springy Nuggets center will play in some role Tuesday.

Faried's injury caused him to miss the Nuggets' final two games of the season, but he got in uniform and was ready to go through the pain in case of an emergency or, as George Karl indicated, garbage time minutes. But there were no garbage time minutes -- Andre Miller's layup in the final seconds decided the game -- so Faried still hasn't played on the foot.
Details are still being sorted out (like how much he’ll play, how healthy his ankle will be, etc.). But an energy hound like Faried is starting to get restless on the bench:
Asked whether he’s definitely in for Tuesday’s game, Faried smiled and said, “Yeah. You can’t sit me down for that long. I get frustrated, I get mad, I start getting a hissy fit.”
The Nuggets might have won the first game, but they could use Faried. He leads the team in rebounding, and without him, they lost the battle on the boards, outrebounded 55-45 by the Warriors. Javale McGee actually played quite well, hitting all four of his field goal attempts, and Anthony Randolph made a nice finish, but Kosta Koufos, who started was just 2-for-7 from the field. Faried will let the Nuggets get up and down the court much better.
