The Eastern Conference takes a day off from playoff action as a pair of series on the other side of the country continue Tuesday evening. The Golden State Warriors have a chance to advance to the next round with a win in Denver, while the Memphis Grizzlies look to keep their momentum going on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Warriors have a chance to advance to the second round with a win Tuesday, while the Clippers and Grizzlies tip off a pivotal Game 5 in L.A.
Once trailing following the opening game of the series, the Warriors have reeled off three consecutive victories to put the Denver Nuggets on the brink of a finished season. Even without All-Star forward David Lee, who suffered a season-ending hip injury in Game 1, Golden State has been led by the superlative effort of guard Stephen Curry.
After struggling early in the opening game of the series, his first-ever postseason appearance, Curry has been one of the most impressive performers in the playoffs so far. In the past three games, he’s averaging 30 points, 10.3 assists, 4.7 rebounds and three steals per game.
Arguably the best shooter in the game, Curry is hitting 55 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc since Game 1 as his team has grabbed a 3-1 series lead. With another win Tuesday, the Warriors will have a second round date set up against the San Antonio Spurs.
The other game of the night can't end with a team advancing to the next round, but it should have major implications on who eventually gets to face the Oklahoma City Thunder (sorry, Rockets). A win by Memphis would give the Grizzlies an opportunity to close out the series at home, where the team is 2-0 so far against L.A., in Game 6.
Coming off a pair of shaky performances in the first two games of the series, the Grizzlies were rather dominant in two double-digit victories at home in Games 3 and 4. Now Memphis heads back on the road with an opportunity to win a pivotal Game 5, which would force the Clippers to keep the series alive against a raucous crowd in Memphis.
