Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson suggested the Denver Nuggets played "dirty" and deliberately attempted to hurt Stephen Curry following a 107-100 loss in Game 5 of the team's 2013 NBA Playoffs first-round series.

Mark Jackson isn’t happy with how physical the Nuggets played his star point guard, prompting serious accusations in his postgame news conference.
In a press conference after the game, Jackson went on the offensive, citing a first-quarter screen set on Curry around his injured ankle as one example of Denver’s methods.
“They tried to send hit men on Steph,” Jackson said.
Curry agreed with his coach and thought the Nuggets were targeting him, as Tim Kawakami of the Mercury News tweeted.
Jackson’s remarks come less than 48 hours removed from Curry being poked in the eye in what appeared to be an unintentional foul late in Game 4. Curry, who entered the game averaging more than 27 points per game, had just 15 in Game 5. He went 7-for-19 from the field, including 1-of-7 from behind the arc.
In response to Jackson's remarks, Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried fired back with accusations of his own.
“They play dirty every night. They have targeted me,” Faried said, according to 9 News Sports.
Game 6 is set for Thursday night at Oracle Arena. If Game 5 was any indication, we should expect a physical, chippy game in the Bay Area.
