The Indiana Pacers had their five-game winning streak snapped on Friday.
The Thunder snapped Indiana's five-game winning streak while the win marked Oklahoma City's second victory in as many nights as they also defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 100-88, on Thursday.
Roy Hibbert recorded 22 points and eight rebounds to lead the Pacers in the loss. Hibbert has now scored 20-plus points in three straight games.
The loss dropped the Pacers 1.5 games behind the Knicks for second place in the Eastern Conference standings as New York defeated Milwaukee earlier on Friday.
Durant entered Friday's game 0.02 points ahead of Carmelo Anthony for the scoring title. Anthony had 41 points on Friday to help the Knicks earn their 11th win in a row.
Russell Westbrook added 24 points and nine assists on 10-of-24 shooting from the field in the Thunder win.
The win improved Oklahoma City to 56-20 on the season and moved them into a first-place tie with San Antonio in the Western Conference standings.
