The status of Bulls big man Joakim Noah has become increasingly questionable as he continues to deal with plantar fasciitis.

Noah has dealt with the foot injury throughout this season, receiving a variety of different kinds of treatment without much success. He said following the team’s loss to Detroit on Sunday that he would have to play through pain for the remainder of the season, an unfortunate development for the big man.
While coach Tom Thibodeau categorized the setback as a minor one, it's concerning to see the Bulls go into the playoffs with so many players ailing. Beyond the continued absence of Derrick Rose, numerous players on Chicago's roster are dealing with minor injuries just weeks before the start of the postseason.
The team hasn’t ruled out Noah for Tuesday’s game at the United Center, but it’s highly unlikely he’ll play. Thibodeau has backed off from the huge minutes he played the likes of Noah and Luol Deng earlier this season, as Blog a Bull, SB Nation’s Bulls blog, points out.
