Phil Jackson is likely coming back to the NBA in some capacity, but where he'll end up and what he'll even be going is still up in the air. Reports say Jackson is interested in running the potential Seattle team, provided the Sacramento Kings are sold and actually move.

Phil Jackson will likely be back in the NBA in some capacity soon, but he may be waiting to see what happens with the Sacramento Kings and their potential sale.

On Saturday, ESPN’s Marc Stein added some fuel to that fire, reporting that a source close to the situation acknowledged that Jackson wants to wait on making any decisions until it’s clear what is going on with the potential move. In other words, Jackson wants in on it, and won’t pursue other options unless that possibility is firmly ruled out.
The Seattle consortium upped its offer for the Kings to $625 million, reigniting the possibility of a deal getting done. All that’s clear at this point is that there’s more drama to come.
As far as Jackson goes, it's been reported that there are multiple teams interested in his services, with the Toronto Raptors being the only named team. The Raptors reportedly want Jackson for their team president role, which is likely the position Jackson would hold in Seattle as well.
There will be a full meeting of the league’s Board of Governors on Wednesday to discuss the Sacramento offer.
