The Utah Jazz are getting an early jump on working out potential point guards of the future from the 2013 NBA Draft, including Texas Longhorns point guard Myck Kabongo. Kabongo, South Dakota State's Nate Wolters and Florida State's Michael Snaer made up the list of guards who attended a pre-draft workout on Saturday, the team's first of the offseason, according to the Deseret News.
NBA Draft 2013: Jazz work out Myck Kabongo, 2 other guards
Texas Longhorns guard Myck Kabongo and other potential second-round picks worked out for the Utah Jazz.

The group of projected second-round picks also included Long Beach State swingman James Ennis, Delaware power forward Jamelle Hagins and Colorado State big man Colton Iverson.
Without a point guard on Utah’s books for next season, all eyes were on the guards.
Kabongo is perhaps the most intriguing of the prospects. He entered the NBA draft after his sophomore year, one that was mostly spent waiting to play after being suspended for all but 11 games of Texas’ season due to NCAA violations. The 6’1, 180-pound guard who grew up in Toronto shined when he finally became eligible, averaging 14.6 points, 5.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.
Kabongo is expected to go around 39th overall in the draft, according to Draft Express’ most recent mock.
Wolters, a 6’4 senior guard, is expected to be taken before Kabongo. He scored 22.3 points per game and averaged 5.8 assists while shooting 37.9 percent from three-point range.
Snaer is a 6’5 shooting guard who shot above 38 percent from three-point range as a senior for the Seminoles. Draft Express has Snaer being selected at the second round’s 16th pick by the Jazz. The website also has Ennis, a 6’7 small forward, being picked 21st in the second round.
