Despite a tweaked left ankle, Stephen Curry will start for the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
Stephen Curry injury: Warriors guard will start in Game 4 vs. Spurs
A sprained ankle won’t keep Warriors star Stephen Curry out of the lineup for a pivotal Game 4.

Heading into the game, Curry was considered a game-time decision, but he’ll give it a go as the Warriors badly need a win in Game 4. The team is currently trailing San Antonio 2-1 in the series.
Curry sprained his ankle for the second time in the playoffs during the fourth quarter of Friday’s 102-92 loss but didn’t leave the game. Visibly struggling to move afterwards, Curry has been receiving treatment on the left ankle, which isn’t the same one that required two surgeries in the last year.
Still, the issues with Curry go deeper than his injury problems. He has shot a combined 12-for-37 in the last two games after going 18-for-35 in the Western Conference semifinals series opener. If injuries continue to limit his effectiveness, Golden State could be in trouble against a battle-tested Spurs team.
Luckily for the Warriors, their opponents are also dealing with injury trouble. San Antonio point guard Tony Parker will be starting Sunday despite a bruised calf.
