Drew's contract with the Hawks expires on June 30 and the Hawks remain undecided on his future with the organization. Drew has indicated he is open to returning, but the Hawks are allowing him to interview with other teams while they make their decision.

The Hawks have also interviewed Stan Van Gundy, San Antonio Spurs' assistant Mike Budenholzer, and Nate McMillan. Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports that there is only a "slim chance" that Drew and his coaching staff will be retained.
The Bucks coaching search has not gone smoothly as they've already dealt with both Van Gundy and Jerry Sloan informing them that they are not interested in the coaching vacancy.
