In the wake of several controversial calls during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, NBA officials have begun reviewing how referees handled the Indiana Pacers' 99-92 win over the Miami Heat, according to Ken Berger of CBS Sports.

League officials are reviewing many of the questionable calls from Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
After a back-and-forth game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse saw Indiana roll to victory following LeBron James' sixth foul with 56 seconds remaining, some Miami players were notably frustrated with the officiating. James criticized a few of the calls against him during a post-game interview, including his fifth foul midway through the final period.

With their backs against the wall, Indiana responded to even their series with Miami at 2-2. “I believe I was straight up-and-down on Paul George’s drive -- the and-one,” James said of the play that put him just one whistle away from fouling out.
Those weren't the only calls earning the attention of those around the basketball world, as numerous key fouls in the second half appeared questionable. From a blown 24-second call in the fourth quarter to a possibly unfair traveling call against Dwyane Wade in the final minute, this was a game full of controversy.
It’s unclear what the NBA plans to do as the fallout of Game 4 is combed through, but the initiation of an official review by the league indicates some action may be taken. With Game 5 scheduled for Thursday night, a decision from officials should come relatively soon.
