2013 NBA Playoffs nightly GIF recap: Knicks and Grizzlies take game 2s
The Knicks-Pacers game began with New York maintaining a moderate lead for much of the first half. The mood off the crowd seemed to be on edge with the knowledge they could be headed on the road with nary a single win in the Garden. Spike Lee was happy to troll Reggie Miller from the sideline on this 18th anniversary of eight points in nine seconds.
Paul George had a strong game early, including the alley-oop dunk below.
However, the Knicks would prove dominant as the end of the third quarter drew near. The defense tightened up and the offense started rolling as everything Indiana tried proved futile. The Pacers didn’t score in the fourth quarter for the first seven minutes or so as New York went on a 35-13 run to close out the game.

And Melo posterized Jeff Pendergraph into eternal sadness.
Even Quentin Richardson got in on the fun in garbage time, leading to this terrific throwback celebration.
All told, New York took back the reins with a victory that must have utterly demoralized Pacers fans after plenty of questions in Game 1.
In Oklahoma City, the Grizzlies hoped to grab a win they let through the gaps of their fingers days ago. In contrast to the earlier game, this one would be within six points until the very end.
Kendrick Perkins was terrible in more than one way and was happy to show everyone.
And Zach Randolph was so happy to help keep Memphis close, he gave Serge Ibaka a nice hug during a dead ball situation.
Amid this close game, Kevin Durant seemed destine to notch a 40-point triple-double game. Little seemed to stand in his way. Darrell Arthur sure wasn't going to.
But Tony Allen was. Allen proved to be a major difference-maker for Memphis, especially in slowing down Durant and extending the Grizzlies' possessions. As time wound down, he even pulled the chair, so to speak, on Durant, causing him to fall and cough up the ball. From there, Memphis won out, pushing their lead to nine points before Derek Fisher hit a three at the buzzer.
