Everybody in the entire world, including you, is going to become a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, and that list apparently includes Arron Afflalo, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
Arron Afflalo rumors: Magic, Clippers reportedly discuss swingman in trade talks
The Magic are interested in swapping Arron Afflalo for Eric Bledsoe, a homecoming for Afflalo and a coup for Orlando if it can acquire the talented point guard currently hiding behind Chris Paul.

Let’s see: There was that rumor that Chris Paul and Dwight Howard wanted to team up, and those rumors about Doc Rivers and Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce possibly joining the team in unison. Afflalo isn’t the sexiest thing, but he’s a solid wingman capable of playing strong defense, and he averaged a career-high 16.5 points this year.
The trade would bring Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler to the Magic. The Clippers clearly value Bledsoe -- he was the sticking point in the Doc Rivers talk -- and is a starting point guard currently stuck behind Chris Paul, so there’s value to be had for somebody. But Butler is a bunch of salary without a very promising future, so the Clippers would benefit from dumping him in return for a strong wing. It should be noted that this isn’t the first we’ve heard about the Magic coveting Bledsoe.
Afflalo went from Denver to Orlando as part of the Dwight Howard trade, and filled in fine on a rebuilding team as a member of the starting lineup. He’s proven himself a legitimate starter in the NBA, although he might have been given a bit too much of a role with the Magic -- he wasn’t particularly efficient, taking 14.1 shots per game, and shot just 30 percent from three, the lowest since his rookie year. He wouldn’t have to do as much with the Clips.
Going to the Clippers would be a homecoming for Afflalo, who went to UCLA and was the conceit of a Kendrick Lamar song.
