On the final day of play at the 2013 NBA Orlando Summer League, Jeremy Lamb and the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Houston Rockets and clinched the league championship with a perfect 5-0 record. Second-year guard Jeremy Lamb led OKC with 18 points on 6-of-18 shooting and four assists and rookie big man Steven Adams added 10 points and nine rebounds, as the Thunder edged out the Rockets for an 85-77 victory in the championship game at the Amway Center in Orlando.
NBA Summer League 2013: Thunder edge Rockets to claim title in Orlando
Jeremy Lamb and the Oklahoma City Thunder clinched the 2013 Orlando Summer League title with a win over the Houston Rockets on Friday.


The tournament was a big success for the Thunder. Lamb logged big minutes and finished the week with an 18.8 points per game average that ranks among the top performers. Reggie Jackson did not play in the final game, but he scored an impressive 19.5 points per game on 53.8 percent shooting. Point guard Dwight Buycks made a big enough impression on OKC's roster that the Toronto Raptors have reportedly signed him to a multi-year deal.
The win-loss results in the Summer League probably don’t matter at all for NBA executives and scouts making evaluations, but if you’re interested in the standings at the Orlando Summer League, here they are:
