The Atlanta Hawks now appear to have their point of guard of the future, the immediate future at least, as they decided to match the Milwaukee Bucks' offer sheet to point guard Jeff Teague. The Hawks' decision to match the four-year, $32 million offer comes against Teague's wishes, who recently asked the team not to match. Teague averaged 14.6 points and 7.2 assists for the Hawks last season.

The move may also pave the way for restricted free agent Brandon Jennings' return to the team. The Hawks and Bucks had reportedly been discussing a Jennings-for-Teague sign-and-trade before Milwaukee offered Teague the offer sheet. Jennings and the Bucks have also reportedly discussed a new contract in the $12 million-per-year range.
Wizards interested in DeJuan Blair
The Washington Wizards addressed their need on the wing by drafting Otto Porter and re-signing Martell Webster. Now it appears they're looking to add some front court depth. Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports the team is interested in former Spurs big man DeJuan Blair. The catch is that the Wizards would more than likely need to complete a sign-and-trade deal to get Blair and Wojnarowski writes it's unclear whether the Wizards have the assets San Antonio would be interested in. Blair fell out of Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich's rotation last season, but has career averages of 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
Celtics nearing deal with Phil Pressey
Former Missouri point guard Phil Pressey appears to be the latest undrafted rookie to take advantage of a Summer League opportunity. ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports that Pressey and the Boston Celtics are discussing a one-year deal. Pressey impressed the Celtics during his run at the Orlando Summer League. He averaged 9.4 points and 6.6 assists for the team. Celtics Blog broke down what Pressey could bring to the Celtics as a potential backup.
What he lacks in size, he makes up for in speed and tenacious D. He stripped two steals a game in Orlando and most of those came in ball pressure situations. In addition to his ability to find open shooters and penetrate the paint, pitbulls Avery Bradley and Courtney Lee will gladly welcome his ferocious on-ball D.
