The 2013 NBA Las Vegas Summer League Quarterfinals are on hold until Saturday, because Friday has been reserved for the less fortunate teams in the single-elimination tournament. The consolation round is set for Day 8 in Vegas, and it represents the last chance to see a handful of NBA teams until training camp begins in the fall. The 14 teams that lost during Round 1 or Round 2 will face off in consolation matchups on Friday. Here’s a look at how the schedule shakes out.

Despite the even lower stakes of these games, there are still plenty of talented players to watch. Otto Porter of the Wizards, Ben McLemore of the Kings, John Henson of the Bucks, C.J. McCollum of the Blazers and Shabazz Muhammad of the Timberwolves are all scheduled to be in action (but remember that teams may focus on playing fringe roster talent to get a final look).
Players to watch: Reggie Bullock hasn't looked like a sharpshooter so far in summer league play (28.6 percent from three-point range), but the Clippers' rookie wing player has done his fair share of scoring (17.0 points per game) and he's worth watching. For the Knicks, rookie guard Tim Hardaway Jr. will be the main attraction if he suits up and plays -- which is a caveat for all quality players at this stage in the tournament.
Kings vs. Hawks | 6 p.m. ET | NBA TV | Cox Pavilion
Players to watch: Ben McLemore has yet to find his three-point stroke for the Kings (17.9 percent on 3PTs), but the high lottery pick is still one of the most intriguing talents in Vegas. Lucas Nogueira and John Jenkins (17.8 PPG) are among the highlight players on Atlanta's roster.
Wizards vs. Pelicans | 6:30 p.m. ET | NBA TV, ESPN3 | Thomas & Mack Center
Players to watch: Chris Singleton, Glen Rice Jr. and Otto Porter are among the interesting players on Washington's roster, but Jan Vesely (!) actually leads the team in scoring at 12.3 points per game on an impressive 64.7 percent shooting to go with 7.3 rebounds per contest. For New Orleans, Austin Rivers has enjoyed similar success at summer league, scoring 17.0 points per game on 43.9 percent shooting.
Spurs vs. Bucks | 8 p.m. ET | Streaming | Cox Pavilion
Players to watch: John Henson has starred for the Bucks (14.7 PPG, 13.7 RPG), but this game may be the last opportunity for fringe players like Dominique Jones and John Shurna to impress NBA executives and make a roster for the upcoming NBA season. Expect those to players to carry the load for Milwaukee on Friday. For the Spurs, Aron Baynes and Corey Joseph will be looking to solidify their spots in the rotation for next year.
Players to watch: Jordan Hamilton has been impressive for Denver throughout the week -- he's hitting 44 percent of his threes and averaging a team-high 15.8 points per game -- while Evan Fournier will have another chance to right the ship and turn in an efficient performance. For the Grizzlies, keep an eye on Tony Wroten, Jack Cooley and Vander Blue.
Players to watch: Andrew Goudelock and Marquis Teague have torched the LVSL to the tune of identical 18.3 points per game averages, while Malcolm Thomas has been pulling down 15 rebounds per contest. Goudelock and Thomas are fighting to earn spots in the NBA, so keep an eye on those two in particular. Jae Crowder has been experimenting with his game for the Mavericks, while leading scorer Josh Akognon will be looking to prove he belongs in the association.
Trail Blazers vs. Timberwolves | 10:30 p.m. ET | ESPN3 | Thomas & Mack Center
Players to watch: In the final game of the night, C.J. McCollum and Shabazz Muhammad are expected to take center stage for the Trail Blazers and Timberwolves. Rosters may be shuffled around a bit to give fringe players a better chance at making a team, but if the two lottery picks from 2013 get to play, that’s a reason to stay up and watch.
