Two days after rolling his ankle in a pickup game, Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is meeting with Team USA doctors but is expected to be able to play for the national team camp this week, according to USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt.
Kenneth Faried injury: Ankle not expected to keep Nuggets forward out of Team USA camp
The Denver Nuggets forward sprained his ankle two days ago but is expected to participate in the men’s national team’s camp.

Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld reported that Denver head coach Brian Shaw was present when Faried went down on Friday.
Faried also injured his ankle in April but played in 80 of the Nuggets’ 82 regular season games. He averaged 11.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game last season.
The Team USA camp's initial list of participants included 27 players, one of whom is Faried's teammate, point guard Ty Lawson. Anthony Davis, Derrick Favors, Greg Monroe and Tyler Zeller are among the young big men on the roster that will be tough competition for for the Nuggets forward.
Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson is in a similar spot as Faried. He is recovering from a sprained ankle but Team USA chairman Jerry Colangelo said it won't hinder his chances at making the final roster for the World Championships next year.
