NBA Summer League standout Ian Clark agreed to sign a two-year contract with the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt reports. The 6'3 sharpshooter from Belmont highlighted strong summer league performances in Orlando for the Miami Heat and Las Vegas for the Golden State Warriors with a 33-point outburst in the championship game of the Las Vegas tournament.

The Utah Jazz have agreed to sign the Belmont Bruins guard who blew up for the Golden State Warriors in the Las Vegas Summer League title game.

Zillgitt reported previously that Clark also had interest from the Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers.
Clark averaged 18.2 points and 2.4 assists for the Bruins in his final college season and earned a share of the Ohio Valley Conference's Player of the Year award with Murray State guard Isaiah Canaan, who was drafted by the Rockets. Additionally, Clark won the OVC's Defensive Player of the Year award for the 2012-13 season.

One of the most efficient shooters in college basketball, Clark shot 54 percent from the field and 46 percent from 3-point range in his final season at Belmont. His long-range shooting was 17th-best in NCAA hoops last season, but his adjusted field goal percentage which takes into account the value of 3-point shots was 67 percent -- off-the-charts for a volume shooter.
The shooting was on display in the final summer league game in Las Vegas. Clark won the game’s MVP award by hitting 7-of-10 3-pointers.
