The Milwaukee Bucks signed 25-year-old Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica on Friday, the team announced in a press release. The contract is for three years with a team option in the final year, according to Andrew Gruman of FOX Sports Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee Bucks signed Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica to a three-year contract on Friday.

Raduljica, a 7'1, 280 pound big man, is expected to compete for minutes as a backup center behind Larry Sanders and free agent acquisition Zaza Pachulia. The Bucks made room for the big man after waiving Drew Gooden using the amnesty provision, allowing Samuel Dalembert to leave vie free agency and then eventually waiving Gustavo Ayon as well.
Raduljica played for the Ukrainian club Azovmash last season, averaging 14.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 53 games on his way to earning Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Second Team honors. He also won the All-Serbian League Most Improved Player award in in 2010 and All-Serbian League Center of the Year honors in 2012.
With John Henson and Ersan Ilyasova entrenched at power forward and Sanders, Pachulia and Raduljica all vying for minutes at the center spot, is it unclear what role the Bucks have left for Ekpe Udoh next season. With Raduljica in the fold, Udoh could be on the trade market as there are still big holes for the Bucks to fill at point guard and small forward.
