The 7-footer is headed overseas after one season in Atlanta.

Petro is leaving the NBA for the first time since he was a first-round draft pick of the Seattle SuperSonics in 2005. His first three seasons in Seattle were his most productive, and he's only played in more than 60 games once since then, when he logged 77 games for the New Jersey Nets in 2010-11. Last year was his first in Atlanta, and he averaged 3.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 31 appearances.
Last season was the final year of a three-year, $10 million contract that he signed with the Nets, according to Spotrac, before being traded to the Hawks as part of the Joe Johnson deal.
The 27-year-old also spent two seasons with the Denver Nuggets.
