The 2013 EuroBasket champion will be crowned on Sunday, but before the final is played, four teams will play classification games on Saturday. After failing to make the finals or the third-place game, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine play in the Saturday contests.
EuroBasket schedule 2013: A pair of consolation games on Saturday’s schedule
Saturday will be the end of EuroBasket 2013 for four teams with two consolation games on the schedule.


Italy and Serbia are both coming off two straight losses. The two will face each other in the classification game for seventh and eighth place. Italy finished 6-4 in Group F, but lost, 81-77, to Lithuania in the quarterfinal. It had a chance to play for fifth place, but lost to Ukraine on Friday. Serbia finished first in Group E before being blown out, 90-60, in the quarterfinal by Spain. Serbia then lost to Slovenia.
Slovenia and Ukraine will play for fifth and sixth place. After losing to Croatia in the quarterfinal, Ukraine beat Italy, 66-58, for the chance to play for fifth place. Slovenia gave France a tough game in the quarterfinals, ultimately losing, 72-62. It rebounded with an 18-point win against Serbia, which including a 14-point lead after the first quarter.
