Former No. 12 overall draft pick Xavier Henry has officially signed a deal to join the Los Angeles Lakers, according to the team's website.
NBA free agency: Lakers sign free agent guard Xavier Henry
The Los Angeles Lakers continued to fill out their roster with value free agents.

The 2010 first-round pick by the Memphis Grizzlies spent last season with the New Orleans Hornets, now the Pelicans. Appearing in 50 games, Henry averaged 3.9 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in 12.5 minutes per outing. Just 22 years old, Henry left the Kansas program after a year and has yet to find a firm role in the NBA.
The Lakers, hampered by a tight salary cap situation, now have their roster at 14 players, including the partially guaranteed deals of Elias Harris and recent free agent signing Shawne Williams. The team is also expected to come to terms with second-round pick Ryan Kelly, putting their roster at 15, the league maximum for a regular season.
Los Angeles is expected to take up to 20 players into camp, according to the Los Angeles Times.
