Kemba Walker suffered an ankle injury during the third quarter of the Charlotte Bobcats' overtime loss to the Miami Heat and was carried off the floor by teammates. The injury occurred while Walker was attempting to drive to the rim past Chris Bosh. He did not return during the game and the team has not made an official update on his status.

Walker has never missed a game since being drafted by the Bobcats with the No. 9 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. He currently leads the team in scoring, averaging a career-high 19 points per game on 42.4 percent shooting. Backup point guard Ramon Sessions will likely see an increased role if he misses time with the injury.

Walker had struggled through the game, shooting just 1-of-7 prior to suffering the injury. Charlotte is fighting for a playoff position, and are now one game behind the No. 8 seed Brooklyn Nets. Their last playoff appearance was during the 2009-10 season.
