Kirk Hinrich did not travel with the Chicago Bulls to face the Cleveland Cavaliers after suffering a right hamstring injury on Monday, the team officially announced. There is no timetable on his return.
Kirk Hinrich injury: Right hamstring injury sidelines Bulls starting point guard
Kirk Hinrich suffered a hamstring injury and is out until further notice.

The Bulls signed Mike James to a 10-day contract to help fill out their point guard depth while Hinrich rehabs the injury. D.J. Augustin was the only healthy point guard on the roster before the signing. Augustin has played well since the team signed him after clearing waivers in December, averaging 12.3 points and 6.1 assists per game since joining the team.
Chicago is one of the six Eastern Conference teams with at least a .500 winning percentage on the season. The Bulls are preparing for a six-game west coast road trip that begins on Jan. 29 and ends on Feb. 9. Hinrich has started in 25 of the team’s 40 games, averaging 8 points and 4.7 assists.
