Ross joins a trend of incredible scoring outbursts, beginning with Kevin Durant scoring 54 points on Jan. 17, setting the high-point of the season for the NBA. Carmelo Anthony shattered Durant's season-high Friday night, dropping a career-high 62 points on the Charlotte Bobcats in Madison Square Garden while setting the New York Knicks' franchise scoring record.
Now, Ross has the NBA’s third-highest scoring game of the season with his monstrous 51-point game, scoring 5.6 percent of his total career points in a single game.
