2014 NBA schedule: Kevin Durant looks to torch the Nets in Brooklyn
The Thunder star has been on a scoring tear in 2014 and will try to burn down the Nets at the Barclays Center on Friday.

With newly-minted All Star DeMar DeRozan in play and the recent explosion of Terrence Ross, it's safe to say that the Raptors have quickly become a must-watch team for League Pass subscribers. Toronto has surprised many during the new year and taking on an offensively-adept team such as the Nuggets should make for a fun night of basketball in the Rockies.
Main Course: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Brooklyn Nets

Was there ever any chance of you missing this game the way Kevin Durant has been playing lately? Absolutely not, and that's a good thing. Durant has put up averages of 38 points on 59 percent shooting, adding six assists per-game, over the last 10 games. He's on pace for one of the best scoring years in the history of the NBA, and it's can't-miss TV on David Stern's last night as commissioner of the NBA.
Meanwhile, the Nets have righted their sinking ship in the month of January, going 10-2 since the start of the year, including a win against the Thunder back on Jan. 2. Defense has been their calling card; the team allowed 95 points or less eight times during that span. Can they stop (or slow down or impede or slightly annoy) Durant? That will be the task for Kevin Garnett and his teammates Friday night.
Dessert: Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves
8 p.m. (League Pass)
It turns out Marc Gasol was pretty important to the Memphis Grizzlies. How important? They've lost just once since he returned on Jan. 14 and haven't allowed more than 92 points to an opponent during that stretch. The Grizzlies have put a stop to the Rockets and Trail Blazers' potent offenses in recent games, and it's been quite a treat to watch them work defensively.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have one of the more efficient offenses in the NBA and have played well at home this season, with a record of 13-8 compared to just 10-14 on the road. Kevin Love will need to bring everything he's got if he wants to be able to fend off the Memphis frontcourt without Nikola Pekovic, who is out with bursitis in his right ankle.
