Chris Paul injury: Clippers star out 3-6 weeks with shoulder sprain

Paul had been shooting and participating in contact drills during the week, but he wasn’t able to practice until Saturday because of the Clippers’ schedule. Paul, who was selected as a Western Conference All-Star reserve, does plan on playing in the All-Star Game next Sunday in New Orleans.

Paul was expected to miss three-to-six weeks with a sprained right shoulder. The injury did not require surgery and his “targeted” return dates are in line with the initial timetable.
