The return of Derrick Rose has been a slow process thus far, but the Chicago Bulls point guard looked like his old self in the first half of a preseason game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. Rose scored 30 points on the night including 20 in the first half. That included 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range.

The blinding speed that once made Rose so special appears to be back:

His most impressive move might have come in the third quarter. Good luck staying in front of Rose when he’s moving like this:

On a drive at the end of the first half, Rose hit the floor and the Chicago bench immediately ran over to help him up:

Cleveland won the game 107-98. Kyrie Irving finished with 28 for Cleveland, while Anderson Varejao added 22 points and eight rebounds.
