Two 9-1 teams meet up in Memphis on Monday. LeBron James and the Cavaliers get to run all over the Nuggets again. The Brow and LaMarcus Aldridge face off in Portland. Monday night should be a busy and exciting one in the NBA. Here are the games that you should be watching and when and how to watch them. All games are available on NBA League Pass, and the national game on NBA TV is Cavs/Nuggets.
NBA schedule: Grizzlies and Rockets face off in Memphis
The NBA’s top two teams by record meet on Monday, plus the rest of the schedule for the day.

The appetizer
Lots of fun guards, lots of speed, lots of fast play. The Celtics are fourth in the NBA in pace; the Suns are sixth. Both of these teams like to run and both shoot a ton of three-pointers -- the Suns are taking 26.4 per game, the third-most in the league; the Celtics are taking 25.4 per game, the fourth-most in the league. That’s a good recipe for a high-scoring, back-and-forth game.

The main course
The two teams tied for first in both the Western Conference and the entire NBA face off in Memphis. Both the Grizzlies and Rockets are playing better than most thought they would en route to 9-1 records, though this game will be the biggest test so far for each of them. Not counting the Kevin Durant- and Russell Westbrook-less Thunder, the Rockets are 2-1 against teams who made the playoffs last year (wins over Miami and San Antonio, a loss to Golden State), while the Grizzlies have yet to play a team that will still be around in late May (again, aside from the Thunder). All that is a roundabout way of saying that this is as enticing an early-season game as you could want. Also, it should be tons of fun watching Dwight Howard and Marc Gasol, the league's two best centers, going at it.

Blazers vs. Pelicans 10 p.m. ET
Anthony Davis has hit the point where he's always appointment League Pass viewing, but don't sleep on the Blazers. They've always been fun to watch and now they're playing defense too. Here's hoping Monty Williams decides to stick The Brow on LaMarcus Aldridge and give us all the matchup we want.
