The Cleveland Cavaliers were put in a tough situation on Wednesday with both LeBron James and Kevin Love sitting out with injuries. James is missed his second straight game with knee soreness while Love sat out due to back spasms. To make matters worse, Shawn Marion also sat out.
Cavs’ offense hits new low without LeBron James and Kevin Love
Shockingly, it’s hard to replace two of the best players in the world.

The result was some really bad offense, evidenced by a brutal third quarter. The Cavs scored just seven points in the quarter. Milwaukee’s Brandon Knight scored seven points all by himself in the quarter. Cleveland made just 3-of-19 shots including 1-of-9 from three-point range. It wasn’t just one or two players missing shots. A total of eight players missed at least one shot and no one made more than a single basket.
For an idea of how bad a seven-point quarter is. The Mavericks scored seven points in a 5.9-second span earlier this season:
The Cavs recovered to score 26 points in the fourth quarter, but still lost 96-80. Get well soon, Lebron and Love.
