The New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers are discussing a trade that would send Iman Shumpert to Los Angeles for backup point guard Darren Collison, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. Additionally, the Knicks want to include Raymond Felton and in turn receive Clippers rookie guard Reggie Bullock in the trade, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

Marc Stein of ESPN reports that the Clippers are hesitant to take back Felton or give up Bullock. Bullock was the No. 25 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft and has played a minimal role the Clippers, appearing in just 26 contests and averaging 8.5 minutes per game.

The Knicks have been linked to multiple rumors as they shop Iman Shumpert while also seeking an upgrade at point guard. Shumpert could be an ideal target for the Clippers after J.J. Redick was ruled out for at least a month after suffering a back injury.

But the Knicks are reportedly asking teams to either take Felton in a Shumpert package, or give up a first-round pick, according to Stein.

Collison has been productive for the Clippers and started in place of Chris Paul while he recovered from a shoulder injury. He's averaging 10.1 points on 46 percent shooting along with 3.9 assists per game. His contract comes at a great value as well after the Clippers signed him to a two-year, $3.8 million contract last summer. Collison has a $1.9 million player option for the 2014-2015 season.

No deal is imminent, but the Clippers have been receptive to discussions with New York, according to Wojnarowski. The trade deadline is Feb. 20.
